Recommended Use
Rear-Facing Harness: 4-35 lb. Up to 32", head must be at least 1" below top of car seat. STOP using this child restraint or base and throw it away 7 years after the date of manufacture. Children are safer riding rear-facing and should ride rear-facing as long as possible, until they reach the maximum rear-facing height or weight rating for their car seat. Century convertible and all-in-one car seats have higher rear-facing limits that will allow children to ride rear-facing longer after outgrowing their infant car seat. Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good as a backup I was given this infant car seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. The seat is light and seems secure. I love that weight of it because with a toddler and a newborn, I can carry my newborn in it and not struggle as much while also holding my toddler’s hand. There’s a few things that could be better however, the base is relatively easy to install but knowing if it’s installed correctly is hard to tell because there is only a line that says “this line must be level with the ground.” Other car seats have the level which makes you feel confident that it’s installed in the correct position and safe with your baby. Another thing we were not crazy about was the fact that if the handle of the seat is up, the shade has to be up as well. This means that you can’t reach back from the front to put baby’s pacifier in or anything. I do love that the fabric is made from recycled materials and that makes me happy. Overall, it’s a good car seat as a backup but I’m not sure that I would use it in our everyday car.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Lightest of the Lightest Car Seat Of all the car seats I have tried in the past, this car seat by a long shot is the lightest I have carried. I tend to have large babies(11 pounds) so weight is a huge issue for me. Being under 8 pounds is so incredibly amazing! Any extra unnecessary weight from a car seat can be very frustrating for me or any parent. This was by far my absolute favorite feature with this car seat. The adjustable base truly helped have the most accurate fit in my vehicles(Chevy Traverse and Ford Flex). It fit well and was easy to install in both. I feel good knowing that this car seat fabric is made from recycled plastics as it helps our environment and makes use of something old new again, especially protecting a new little life. My husband and I both were a little frustrated with regards to the shade on the car seat. This would be the biggest and really only negative on this car seat for us. The shade is attached to the carry handle of the car seat. The way it is attached(solidly down the handle) makes it difficult to carry the car seat in any other way aside from the middle of the handle(as opposed to from the side to hold it on your hip). It also makes it difficult to hang any toys and the like on the handle for baby to play with. Having anything hanging from the center grip of the handle ends up smacking the baby in the face or blocking the view of the baby when looking trying to look in the mirror in the car. It is difficult to attach anything near the hinges of the handle and it is not possible to wrap anything around the handle as it is too far over for baby to interact with. I received this infant car seat from the Stellar Product Testing Panel for my honest opinion.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Compact HONESTLY I would not recommend this car seat unless you didn't have the extra money for something better. I gave this three stars because a safe car seat is a safe car seat and if this is what a momma can afford then I recommend anything to keep a baby safe! But there are a few downfalls I'll explain one at a time. The car seat handle bar is attached to the shade...yes attached! So you can not protect from the sun unless you have the top bar pulled up. Maybe that's okay for some people but not for me. That also means you can hold the baby in the carrier unless the shade is up. And the fabric at the bottom of the shade holding it to the car seat does not hold well, so then the bar is down the bottom of the shade hangs down a bit because it detaches. How do you hold the carrier with the shade attached? Well yup they give you a small hole to try and get your arm comfortable in right in the middle of the bar. That is not easy to work with. I'm a mom of four and being able to carry a car seat comfortably is a big deal. (I'll attach pictures showing). If you have an sort of arm injuries or previous wrist surgeries like me, it's not going to feel nice carrying this seat around that's forsure. It may be light weight but the positioning isn't ideal. With that all being said, the hole on the top for your arm also lets the sun in RIGHT on your kid's face depending on your positioning. There is no way to cover that spot. Now the carseat may be compact and light weight, but it's also a bit cheap feeling. So if you can afford a few extra dollars to splurge on a better car seat then do just that. I received this product in exchange for my honest review.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from So light! I love how light this car seat is! It is definitely lighter than the other one I use for my 16 month old. I have a newborn so this one being smaller and lighter is perfect for my compact sized Sedan. I installed this in my car pretty easily without the help of my husband. Because it is adjustable, it was kind of difficult to tell which setting went where. But other than that, I installed it pretty quickly as the directions were clear. My favorite feature of the car seat would have to be how light it is and the fabric! I think the fabric will keep my baby from getting too hot on a summer day and I like the material because food spills and spit up will be really easy to clean! Another added feature of this seat fabric is its made from recycled plastics so if you're environmentally friendly (which we should all be), this is for you!! The adjusting base is nice to make sure you get the car seat at the right angle, especially because we have two cars that we occasionally move the seat back and forth from. The only thing that bugged me was that the sun shade is hard to slide back and forth. It would almost get stuck on the car seat when you move the handle back. Hopefully it will get better as we use it more, and gets stretched out a little. Over all a great car seat thought. Seriously love how light it is and easy to carry it is! Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this infant car seat.

I will say that I have dealt with many different car seats in my time and this one is by far my favorite. Came well packaged.Its roomy and I was very happy to feel how lite it was.All the levers move so easily and that makes for easy transitioning from car to stroller. When I attached it to the stroller the fit was very easy and smooth. The handles are a nice size,not to thick. Its well padded all around and soft.Very happy with this car seat.

I have three children and have had multiple infant seats and finally have one that does not require both hands and all my strength just to carry my strapped in baby to and from the car. The cars eat itself is nice and my baby seems to find it cozy. Installation was incredibly simple, and as a parent concerned about my child's future on this warming planet I deeply appreciate that this seat is made from recyclable materials. However, the fact that I am able to carry my child and other bags without struggling from the weight has won me over. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from So Lightweight & Easy to Clean, But Has a Few Drawbacks We were given this Carry On 35 Lightweight Infant Car Seat and base to try as a part of the Stellar Product testing panel and I was excited to try a lightweight carseat. I've had to other kids and we've always used a different carseat that is pounds heavier. Those few pounds really do make a huge difference! Picking up baby and setting him in his base in the car or in the stroller is much easier on my back. I liked that the fabric was made of recycled plastics. I'm kinda known in my group as a big advocate for reusing and recycling things, so it fit with our family values to be using something specifically made from recycled products! Installing it was really simple and the user manual was clear. I used the LATCH option to install it in my minivan. The adjustable base is really easy to use as well, but I did have a bit of an issue knowing whether I installed it accurately. Our old carseat had a little level bubble that floated in water so you can check and make sure the car seat was level. This car seat simply had a line across the side that you're supposed to use as a gauge to make sure the car seat is parallel with the ground beneath it. By the time I step far enough back to see the ground and the car seat, I couldn't really see the line. I'd encourage the manufacturer to make that line a brighter and bolder color to make it easier to see. My favorite feature of the car seat also wound up being one of my least favorite things on the car seat too. I was thrilled that the car seat's canopy was attached to the carry handle when I first opened it. I despise our old car seat's canopy that constantly falls down and comes undone from the back. The old one didn't provide as much actual shade as this one does too. But I quickly realized that with the canopy attached to the carry handle, I can't carry my baby the way I normally would (I stick my hand under the handle and wrap my wrist underneath, that way baby is carried on my forearm, wrist, and on my hip). It's taken some adjustment not being able to tote baby around on my arm/hip like I did his siblings. Overall, its a nice carseat and works well. It's easy to clean with a damp washcloth and it's super lightweight. I like that it has a matching stroller to make a travel system as well. On the whole though, I haven't decided if I'm going to keep using it or move back to using our old one. It doesn't feel as sturdy and secure as our old carseat. When you set it on the ground and wiggle the carry handle from side to side, you can hear it squeaking and see the components give a little. That makes me nervous thinking that it could be possible for the carry handle to come undone and I'd drop the baby. It may be mommy hormones, but I like how solid our old car seat feels (even though it's been through the wringer with two other kiddos). Feels like a big trade off for how nice and lightweight this car seat is. Thank you again to Stellar Product Testing Panel for letting me try out this new product!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great car seat! I received this item from the Stellar Product Testing Panel in exchange for my honest review. My little girl loves this seat! It's very roomy and she seems very comfortable. She actually smiles when I put her in it. I love how light weight it is. As baby gets bigger, it's harder to carry them in their seat. The low weight of this seat means baby can stay in it longer. That's a huge plus! Nobody likes waking a sleeping baby to get them out of the car. The canopy is attached to the handle, with a big peek-a-boo hole. It's nice, but makes it difficult to carry the seat on your arm. If I could change anything about this seat, I would make the canopy detachable from the handle. This seat is super easy to install and it feels very safe. It's very user friendly and easy to figure out. The angle adjuster on the base is really easy to use. I would definitely recommend it to a friend.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Carry-On My 8 Pound Son I really like the Century Carry-On 35 Lightweight Infant Car Seat. For starters, when I put my son in it, he seemed calm and happy. So it’s baby approved! It’s also light weight, which is great especially if your doctor still hasn’t approved you to carry much weight. The base with adjustable incline made for a super simple car install, and the belt and snaps slide easily, which is nice. I like the materials. They’re recycled yet still surprisingly soft. My one complaint is with the canopy being connected to the arm handle. I like to carry my car seats with my arm through the handle, which I am not able to do with this seat. Overall, I really like the Century Carry-On 35 lightweight infant car seat. Thanks to the Stellar Testing Panel for letting us test this product!

I was given this infant car seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I can’t believe they used recycled materials to make this, which is impressive! The quality is honestly sturdy and beautiful. One of my favorite features that this car seat has, is the adjustable base that made my life so convenient, and easy installing without a problem! Definitely perfect for me because I’m a petite person and this car seat is not ginormous and heavy at all. Also, the style and color are fancy and love the attention to details! Highly recommend this lightweight car seat!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super light, without compromising safety! I am a very petite person, and carrying my twelve pound baby in our old heavy car seat was not working for me at all. We looked at many seats in store but many of the lighter options seemed flimsy or unsteady, but not this seat! I can carry it easily with baby inside, but I feel completely safe with how it sits in the car. The base is very secure and was easy for me to install myself. I also love that the seat is made in a planet friendly way! Thanks so much to the stellar product testing panel for letting us try it out!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Car Seat, Base, I was so excited to receive this stroller and car seat (with base) combo through the Stellar Panel! I just had my 2nd baby at the end of April. It made my life so much easier that the car seat and the stroller are both very light. I have a 1 1/2 year old, so it’s importance that I’m able to maneuver with each easily while holding him too! I love that majority of the stroller and car seat was Grey. I’m not a huge fan of the yellow, but Iliked that the buttons that were yellow were very minimal and could work with either gender. Also, I love that it’s made from recycled plastic. One of the things I really loved was that the stroller can stand up, is easy to fold, and is easy to lift. Especially because I’m only two weeks postpartum and not able to lift much. The stroller was a smooth ride and my toddler seemed comfortable in it. Another plus was that the canopy was adjustable! The base was easy to install in my car. Some car seat bases/car seats can be very difficult and take a lot of time to install. So any that are easy are great in my book!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Super light car seat Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this infant car seat. I was really impressed with the lightness of the car seat. It was particularly useful due to lifting restriction during postpartum. I was able to comfortable transport my baby without straining. The adjustable base was very easy to install. Having the adjustable option helped with fit. I gave the car seat 4 out of 5 stars because even with how tight I could get the seat, it was not moving more than 1 inch side to side or forward/back I was able to lift the end of the seat easily. My favorite feature was the angle of the seat. It did not curve much and I felt that my 7 week old baby was better supported vs other car seats where she looked slumped and I worried about airway closure. The harness was very easy to adjust and fill really well The fabrics on the seat looked very nice and I really felt good about the recycled material that made the fabric. The packaging of the car seat was minimal as well. Overall I think this seat with make travel a breeze.

When it came in the box I seriously thought they had forgotten to put the car seat in it because of how light it felt. It is also extremely cute! It looks very modern and clean. The adjustable base is great for the car and makes things so easy. I love that with its compatible stroller it actually locks into place and brings so much security to the table. The materials are wonderful and so easy to clean. I love that with it being so light I am able to feel comfortable if my mom (the grandma) ever need to lift and install it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A great light weight and eco-friendly car seat The Century Carry On 35 Lightweight Infant Car Seat is truly light weight! The carseat is very easy to install, it took us maybe 2 minutes max to install the adjustable base in our car. The carseat itself is very basic and simple and easy to carry around. The seat padding is super soft and comfy with a cool geometric design. I love that the fabric is made from recycled plastics, kudos to Century for going green, and how easy it is to clean! The fabric is made with a water resistant like material, making it super easy to wipe up messes! My only complaint would be the attachment of the shade canopy to the handlebar of the carseat. I wish the canopy was longer for more coverage because the fabric is great for both sunny and rainy days! Overall, this is a great light weight and simple carseat that’s eco-friendly. My baby is happy sitting in here. I would recommend getting a more snug fit infant insert for newborns especially for smaller babies to help their heads stay in place. The first thing that hit us was how comfortable it looks. The material is really nice feeling and looks to be waterproof. We love the grey and yellow coloring. The main feature that we like is how lightweight this car seat is. As well as it being made from eco-friendly recycled fabric. The car seat has a nice canopy to protect from the sun. The canopy is connected/attached with the handle and has a hole for the hand grab area. One thing we didn't like was when using this with the stroller that is available to go with it (to make it into a travel system) the two canopy's don't close up smoothly together. Another part we did not like about this car seat is the neck straps. They come to close inward and rub on the babies neck. I received the Carry On 35 Lightweight Infant Car Seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

I was surprised about how lightweight it was for its size. It is still durable and of high quality. It actually has a great feel to carry and adjust it. The adjustable base was different from other car seats we have used! It did help make the installation simple and fast. Unimportantly, the color scheme of this car seat is great for our son, and I like the fact that the seat fabric utilizes recycled plastics. The sturdy, yet lightweight, construction of this car seat stood out the most! Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this infant car seat!

The opening on the shade is convenient to put my arm through making it more comfortable to carry. The material has been very easy to wipe down with messes. The buckles are also easily adjustable and I can unfasten my little one with one hand. My newborn looks snug and is able to fall asleep during almost every car ride! Gives this mama peace of mind knowing he is safe and comfortable each time I buckle him in. I was given this infant car seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

I loved the lightweight as it made this seat easy to carry as my little girl grows. I wasn’t a huge fan of the sun shade be attached to the carry bar as we like to put the shade down but leave the bar up for safety. This seat is great for anyone who wants a car seat that if easy to carry for quick growing little ones.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lightest Car Seat A big thank you to Stellar Product Testing Panel for letting us test the Carry On 35 Lightweight Infant Car Seat free of charge. When this seat first arrived I was absolutely shocked at how light the box was. I was so intrigued I just had to read the box before opening it and there it was, less than seven pounds! The light weight is really refreshing, it may not have extra bells and whistles but it's practical and easy to use. One feature that is brand new to me, and having eight children I am no stranger to car seats, the canopy is attached to the carry handle. The fabric is soft and the seat padding has a nice plush feel. If you're looking for a no frills, hit the road right away car seat, this is it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from If lightweight is what you're after, this is it! I received this car seat from the Stellar review panel in exchange for my honest feedback. Let me start by saying this seat is light! Compared to the other two infant seats I have, this one is about half the weight; wow. The car seat base was easy to install. The adjustable base means no more rolled up towels to get it level, which is a huge plus. Also, the fabric of this seat is made of recycled plastics, which makes you feel good and it doesn't bother my kid! As far as bells and whistles are concerned, that's pretty much where they end. I imagine it's because they needed to keep it as light as possible, but the carry arm requires 2 hands to adjust and the canopy is attached to it. This means if the carry arm is in its upright position, the canopy is always up. I also didn't love the chest clip, if you don't squeeze your finger between the clip and your baby, you have to press on the baby to unclip it. So, if you're looking for a lightweight seat that is great for travel, you've found it! But if you want something a little more plush, this isn't the seat for you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The stroller This is the lightest car seat I’ve ever owned, and that’s coming from a dad of three boys. It makes things so much easier for me and my wife. The adjustable is one of the best features of this car seat. It made the installation process easy and quick. My favorite feature of this car seat is the fact that it’s so light! It fits into each of my vehicles perfectly. My son loves it and the fabric is nice. He usually tends to sweat a lot and this material doesn’t cause him to overheat. Overall, it was a well-thought out car seat. Thank you Stellar and Century Baby for allowing me to test this car seat out. Did you like that this car seat fabric is made from recycled plastics?

My favorite part is the handle it has the shield attached to handle so that's nice it won't fall down and no wind can get in . I got this product with stroller to test out for Stellar Product Testing Panel.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! I received this to try from Stellar Product Testing Panel.. I just took this on a trip to Disney and it was great! From the plane to the parks, it was lightweight, easy to carry, and comfortable for my little peanut to be in for extended periods of time. I would definitely recommend this to others! I'm a mom of 7 so I would like to thing I've used my fair share of carseats, so that's saying something!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lightweight Carseat I was given this infant car seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. The car seat is super lightweight, lighter than I expected and small. My boyfriend said he loved how light and small it was. I liked how the base lets you adjust it to fit the car, and it was easy to install. I used the hooks that came with the base not the seatbelt, and pulling it tight was so easy. I normally have a hard time getting them tight enough with the hooks. Only thing I wasn't a fan of is the sun-visor is attracted to the handle. I have to lower the handle to get her out because she loves to push upwards when I go to take her out. For the most part, I love the car seat. I've told my friends about it already.
